This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how cancellations and refunds are handled when using munaseb (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By making a booking through our website, mobile application, or related services (the “Platform”), you agree to this Policy.
1. General Principles
- munaseb is a marketplace platform that connects users with independent service providers and vendors.
- Cancellations and refunds are primarily governed by each vendor’s individual policy.
- munaseb facilitates the communication and processing of cancellations and refunds but does not directly control vendor decisions.
2. Cancellation by Users
- Users may cancel bookings in accordance with the vendor’s cancellation policy (which will be shown or communicated prior to booking).
- Depending on the vendor’s rules, cancellation may result in:
- Full refund if canceled within the permitted time window.
- Partial refund if canceled closer to the event date.
- No refund if canceled after the cutoff time.
3. Cancellation by Vendors
- If a vendor cancels a booking:
- The user will be eligible for a full refund of the booking amount.
- munaseb will facilitate finding an alternative vendor where possible.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted in the following cases:
- Vendor cancellation before the event.
- Service not delivered — if the vendor fails to provide the booked service.
- Misrepresentation — if the service delivered is materially different from the description.
Refunds will not be granted in cases such as:
- Change of mind or personal circumstances.
- Services delivered substantially as described.
- Failure by the user to provide required details or cooperation.
5. munaseb Service Fees
- munaseb’s service or processing fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
6. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the event date via email: support@munaseb.com.
- munaseb will review the request and coordinate with the vendor.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10–14 business days, subject to your bank/payment provider.
7. Chargebacks
- Initiating a chargeback through your payment provider without first contacting munaseb may result in account suspension.
- We encourage users to resolve refund requests through munaseb’s support team first.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
